Swisscontact, co-implementing the PRABRIDDHI project with the Local Government Division of Bangladesh and funded by the Governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland, supports Local Economic Development (LED) in seven municipalities across Bangladesh. The project focuses on improving municipal governance, promoting inclusive economic growth, and embedding the Bangla LED model nationally.
Swisscontact seeks a qualified media and communications agency to implement a strategic national-level media campaign to amplify PRABRIDDHI’s key achievements, influence policy, and promote the LED approach.
Contract: Strategic media engagement for PRABRIDDHI’s final project phase.
Location: Shibganj, Jashore, Bogura, Dinajpur
Duration: 01 August 2025 to 30 September 2025.
Specific Objective of each video
- Organize strategic media field visits to project locations involving senior reporters and TV journalists.
- Facilitate publication of three impact feature stories in a national English daily (Daily star).
- Produce and broadcast five prime-time TV news packages highlighting project themes.
- Develop and air a 45-minute prime-time TV talk show (Jamuna or Shomoy TV) on LED and decentralization.
- Produce one professional podcast (Using Jamuna or Shomoy TV’s Social Media Platforms) covering LED strategic themes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate media field visits covering decentralization, sectoral development, and green growth themes.
- Manage content development: scripts, interviews and video footage.
- Liaise with national media partners for feature story placement and broadcast scheduling.
- Deliver high-quality multimedia content with appropriate branding and bilingual accessibility.
- Submit comprehensive reports with media coverage links, analytics, and documentation.
Required Qualification and Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 years of experience in national-level media engagement on development/governance themes.
- Established network with leading newspapers and TV channels.
- In-house capacity for videography, editing, graphic design, and bilingual content creation.
- Experience in media training and capacity building is preferred.
- Familiarity with local economic development and municipal governance an advantage.
- Compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and ethical standards.

Required Legal Documents
In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, it is mandatory for the applicant to submit necessary documents demonstrating their legal, taxation and financial status. The documents should be part of the proposal and include the following:
- Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- VAT registration number
- Trade license (if applicable);
- NGO bureau registration (if applicable);
- Joint stock registration certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of a segregated account (providing the name and address of such an account).
- Other valid papers (Provided by Government institutions).
- The vendor must bear all Advance Income Tax (AIT) and VAT. The total amount of VAT should be mentioned in the financial proposal.
