Capacity Building of Local Consultants by a Specialized Consultancy Service Provider to Enhance Technical Skills for Sustainability Reporting in Bangladesh’s RMG Sector_PROGRESS Project

Swisscontact was established in 1959 as an independent foundation by notable figures from the worlds of commerce and science in Switzerland. It is exclusively involved in international development co-operation and has carried out its own and mandated projects since 1961.

Swisscontact’s working principles include inclusive systems development, learning culture, evidence-based adaptive management, and engaging private sector. In addition, the organisation’s sustainable criteria comprise of gender equality and social inclusion, financial capability, environmental responsibility, and good governance.

Swisscontact is currently implementing PROGRESS project that addresses skills development and environmental and social compliance needs of the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) sector. The project supports selected RMG factories in Bangladesh to skill and upskill their existing workers as well as improve the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. As a part of the Environmental and Social Compliance component, Swisscontact is inviting applications from qualified Consultancy firms for Capacity Building of Local Consultants by a Specialized Consultancy Service Provider to Enhance Technical Skills for Sustainability Reporting in Bangladesh’s RMG Sector.
