Swisscontact was established in 1959 as an independent foundation by notable figures from the world of commerce and science in Switzerland. It is exclusively involved in international development cooperation and has carried out its own and mandated projects since 1961. In Bangladesh, Swisscontact was registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau in 2008.

Swisscontact Bangladesh has started a project aiming to create access to safe drinking water for the severe drinking water crisis-prone low-income communities. The current project will onboard an incumbent to carry out the documentation of the project’s intervention and operations of two established water enterprises in Satkhira Sadar and Shyamnagar.

The objective of the assignment:

The goal of this assignment is to create a package of video documentaries to promote the H2O project's initiative for safe drinking water. The documentaries will showcase the project's experience and knowledge gained over a year of operation by capturing the water enterprises' operations and related activities along with the customers’ feedback. The objective is to increase the project's outreach to the important stakeholders such as donors and private partners. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a theme and finalise the script of the story with the H2O project team;
• Make necessary changes to the script if required and update with the H2O project team;
• Conduct field visit/s in the selected locations for collecting footages as necessary;

Virtual meet with all bidders:

H2O team will conduct a virtual meeting on 05 July 2023 to discuss the ToR and answer questions about the project. All interested entities are requested to send an email of confirmation to bd.procurement@swisscontact.org by 04 July 2023 before 5:00 PM, and a virtual meeting link will be sent beforehand. • Prepare and share the picture-lock and incorporate the suggestions made by the project team;
• Prepare voice-overs and subtitle for the documentary in English upon approval from the project;
• Provide output of the finished product in RAW format.

Required Qualification and Eligibility Criteria

• Must have more than 05 years proven experience in film production.
• Extensive experience in producing development work related documentaries for organisations with the aim of reaching out to both local and international audiences.
• Excellent technical capacities (Full High-Definition video and high-quality pictures) to ensure highest quality production.
• Additional experience in development communication will be an added advantage.
