REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Bangladesh Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): The Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES) has received/has applied for financing from SUFAL II - Scaling-up Forecast-based Action and Learning in Bangladesh toward the cost of SUFAL II - Scaling-up Forecast-based Action and Learning in Bangladesh Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include individual consultants/firm/company who is responsible for support through the assessment of develop & deploy a “Mobile Application for Water-Level (WL) Data Collection” which will assist staff gauge readers of FFWC, BWDB in easily recording WL data, check for error in collected data. c transmit data directly to FFWC data repository along with a backup data repository. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment are attached to this request for expressions of interest. The Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES) now invites eligible individual consulting (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants/firm/company should provide a CV/company profile demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: Experience: 3 years Project completion certificate: 2 Team Composition: At least 2 fulltime developers Legal document: Valid govt. TAX documents, Company registration, Trade certificate etc Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. A consultants/firm/company will be selected in accordance with the individual consultant’s method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
