KOICA Bangladesh Office invites qualified consulting firms and companies to express of interest in Construction Design and Supervision Services for the following grant-aid projects respectively.

1. About KOICA

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is a government aid agency of the Republic of Korea (ROK), founded in 1991. KOICA implements grant and technical cooperation of the Republic of Korea (ROK), supporting the socio-economic development of many developing countries. KOICA has selected seven priority sectors to assist the sustainable socio-economic development of developing countries based on their development needs and Korea’s comparative advantages. [Education, Health, Public Administration, Agriculture and Fishery, Technology & Environment & Energy, Cross cutting issues [Gender/ICT/Human Rights/Climate Change.] KOICA has started its journey in Bangladesh in the year of 1993. In 1995, it started its full-fledged activities in Bangladesh with the initiation of an office within the Korean Embassy premises.

2. Title of the work: 

Design and Construction Supervision Consultant Service for the Remodeling Work of the Education and Research Capacity Building of the National Institute of Advanced Nursing Education and Research (NIANER) in Bangladesh

3. Summary of Services:

  • Remodeling part of the existing master's program educational space into a doctoral program (A conceptual layout for the remodeling floor plan will be provided after the selection of the successful bidder)
  • Required surveys for existing rooms, Design and Construction document Service, Bidding Document service for construction, Supervision during the construction, Bidding support for selecting the construction contractors.
  • Total remodeling area: Approx. 2,311.86 ㎡
    - Remodeling area for education facility: 1,857.92 ㎡ (for 2 floors) + Remodeling area for dormitory: 453.94㎡ (for 1 floor)


4. Estimated Price: USD 37,980 (VAT included)
(Design: USD 18,990/ Supervision: USD 18,990)

5. Location: Hazi Kadam Ali Rd, Mugda, Dhaka 1214, Bangladesh (Detailed are attached in the BDS)

  • This is an ‘International Competitive Bidding’ and the successful bidder will be selected by negotiation after the technical proposal evaluation.
  • Joint venture is not allowed.
  • Bidder with Bangladesh Trade License for Consultancy will only be eligible for participation.
