The Development Organisation of the Rural Poor (DORP) is a national non-governmental organization in Bangladesh, established in 1987 and registered from NGO Affairs Bureau and Registration No is FDR-682. DORP works to improve the socio-economic conditions of poor, marginalized, and excluded communities through inclusive and rights-based development approaches. Its core focus areas include Resettlement and Livelihood and Micro finance, Health, Nutrition and WASH, Education and Environment and Climate Change, with strong emphasis on equity, accountability, and community participation.

To strengthen its long-term vision and organizational effectiveness, DORP plans to develop a Strategic Plan for 2026–2030 through a qualified consultancy firm/consultant.
Through this advertisement, DORP is Requesting for Expression Interest including technical and financial proposals from eligible consultancy firms/individual consultants as outlined in this request for quotation and the terms and conditions attached herewith:

Along with the technical and financial proposals, the following documents need to be submitted separately:

• A firm profile of a maximum of 2-5 pages, highlighting completed related assignments with client names, contact persons, and contact numbers.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the proposed consultant(s), proven relevant experience and/qualifications. If multiple people are involved, an outline of roles/ responsibilities also needs to be included.
• Two references (minimum) for previous relevant assignments.
• Evidence of previous work: List of similar publications or any other documents proving similar experience and technical and thematic knowledge.
• Legal documents: Copy of the registration copy, TIN, BIN, trade license, Proof of Submission Receipt (PSR) of the Income Tax Return for the latest assessment year and any other relevant documents.

Priority will be given to expert or experienced consultancy firms/individuals for developing the organization’s strategic plan. Interested organisations/individual consultants are requested to submit their necessary bid documents in electronic format in English. The submissions must reach DORP via email at   info@dorpbd.org
