International Development Enterprises (iDE) is a global organization headquartered in Denver, Colorado USA. iDE co-creates with foundations, governments, individuals, for-profits, and nonprofits to develop lasting solutions to poverty. We design and deliver market-based solutions in Agriculture and WASH in 11 countries across Asia, Africa, and Central America. iDE Bangladesh was established in 1984 as the organisation’s first country program and has been enabling people to improve their lives and livelihoods through our market-based approaches in agricultural mechanization; water, sanitation and hygiene; food security and nutrition; women’s economic empowerment; and finance. 

The Suchana program is a six-year initiative that aims to prevent chronic malnutrition in children in the first 1,000 days of their lives. The program adopts an integrated approach to nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive interventions and aims to develop a sustainable and replicable model that can be scaled. Suchana is funded by the UK Department for International Development and the European Union, and is implemented in Bangladesh by a consortium of partners, including Save the Children, iDE, WorldFish, Helen Keller International, and implementing agencies Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS), RDRS, and Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB). icddr,b will carry out the impact monitoring of the project.

iDE invites proposals from interested firms or Consultant to provide support on conducting the assignment mentioned in the Terms of References (TOR).
