HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, an international NGO, works in the domains of sustainable and inclusive economies, water and infrastructure, environment and climate change, governance and peace, skills development and education. Its main activities are thematic and advisory services as well as the planning and implementing of development projects in about 30 continents in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. In Bangladesh, HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is managing several large programmes and small projects and mandates.
HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Bangladesh is inviting applications from qualified candidates for its “Taking Successful Innovation to Scale – Pathways for Disability-Inclusive Graduation out of Poverty (in short Paradigm)” Project (a joint initiative with Handicap International-Humanity and Inclusion (HI), for the position of “Facilitator for Market Development”, based in Kurigram with frequent visit to Dhaka for establishment of collaboration with national stakeholder. The position ensured until March 2022 subject to continuation of funding from respective donor.
The Facilitator for Market Development will be responsible to perform the following three main roles: private sector engagement, knowledge management, and monitoring and result measurement in order to promote and strengthen climate smart value chains, which empower persons with disabilities in the market system.
The salary and benefits of the above position would be in accordance with the salary structure of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Bangladesh and be fixed based on the qualification and experience of the selected candidate. However, the annual gross salary package would be within the range of BDT 720,000 to BDT 780,000 depending on qualification of the candidate.
