Voice Production and Media Spotting for Community Awareness on Government Service Information and Gender related awareness messages through Community Radio

'Nobo Jatra, a five year USAID Food for Peace Title II Development Food Aid Project commenced in September 2015 and will come to end in September 2020. Led by World Vision Bangladesh (WVB), Nobo Jatra is a shared commitment with World Food Programme (WFP) and Winrock International (WI) as sub grantees and is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) of the Government of Bangladesh. Project implementation is in the south west coastal areas of Bangladesh, in four Upazilas (sub districts) under two districts; Dacope and Koyra in Khulna; Shyamnagar and Kaliganj in Shatkhira covering 856,116 direct beneficiaries.

The goal of Nobo Jatra program (NJP) is to improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people in Bangladesh. The Nobo Jatra Program (NJP) is implemented using an integrated approach to build synergies across a number of program elements. These includes Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN),Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Market-based agriculture production and income generation, Microenterprise productivity, Promotional graduation for extreme poor, Civic participation and capacity building for disaster preparedness and planning, Governance and social accountability, with youth development and gender integrated throughout all activities (cross cutting).

The project is working to improve social Accountability and national policy engagement of service provision for vulnerable men and women as cross cutting purpose to achieve its goal. Nobo Jatra Project is working to empower local communities for equitable access to productive resources by following World Vision’s Citizens Voice and Action (CVA) approach.

As a sub-grantee (local partner NGO), Shushilan implements a portfolio of activities under the gender, good governance and Promotional Graduation components of the Nobo Jatra project and is requesting for Technical & Financial proposal for Voice Production and Media Spotting for Community Awareness on Government Service Information and Gender related awareness messages through Community Radio.

All Voice Production and Media Spotting Community radio/Organizations are requested to submit Proposal which include Technical Proposal, Financial proposal, Organizational profile, legal documents (Trade license, VAT & TAX certificates, Mushak-11, Related Experience) as per below linked ToR by e-mail attachment to: procurement@shushilan.org or hard copy to: Chief Executive, Shushilan, House # 155, Jalil Sharoni, Rayermahol, Boyra, Khulna-9000 within or before 16 January 2019.
