Job Context


The Manager – Talent Management holds the accountability for leading the talent management strategy (from attracting and recruiting top talent to developing and retaining employees), enhancing the employer brand, and driving organizational development initiatives. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership to understand talent needs, developing comprehensive onboarding programs, and ensuring continuous employee development and retention.

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Work closely with department heads and senior leadership to understand talent needs and align talent management strategies accordingly.
  • Design and execute effective recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team and oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Identify, assess, and develop talent within the organization to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct new joiner orientation presentations and enhance the orientation deck, incorporating updated company information.
  • Develop and standardize comprehensive recruitment assessment tests across all functions and levels within the organization.
  • Develop job profiles and identify key competencies for roles through conducting role and functional analysis.
  • Enhance the company’s employer brand through initiatives and engagement on relevant online and offline platforms, employer branding events and through networking.
  • Provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices to department heads.
  • Liaise with Global regional offices for Talent Acquisition support.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes based on feedback and best practices to ensure and maintain effectiveness.

Organizational Development:

  • Design and develop a comprehensive onboarding program that covers all aspects of the new hire experience, from pre-boarding to the end of the probationary period.
  • Develop and manage succession planning programs to ensure the organization is prepared for future leadership needs.
  • Promote and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives within the talent management strategy.
  • Support and guide employees in identifying career paths and development opportunities.
  • Create and manage individual development plans (IDPs) to support career growth.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on recruitment, training, and development activities.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in talent management and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in conducting training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and development needs across the organization based on current market standards.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and seminars.


Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Post-Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field from a reputed institute.
  • 12-15 years’ relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management or Organizational Development, preferably in a multinational company having 500+ employee base.
  • At least 5 years in managerial capacity, which will be given preference.
  • Professional certification in organizational behavior, psychology or related areas will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition and management programs.
  • Strong knowledge of performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
