Job Context


The Coordinator – Compliance Team is accountable for supporting the Compliance team under the direction of the Compliance Head in ensuring inspection schedules, monitoring inspection activities, following up with suppliers/factories and accumulating data for preparing timely reports. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external communication related to updates from the Compliance team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for all communication with internal and external parties regarding Compliance team updates
  • Prepare the required presentations for the Compliance department as advised by Compliance Head.
  • Categorize geographical regions into zones and maintain a tracker accordingly for all active suppliers/factories.
  • Keep a record of customer claims and share the report with Compliance Head for further necessary action.
  • Collect and summarize IQA inspection reports to keep records.
  • Coordinate with the Compliance team to obtain a fire safety checklist, maintain a record, and submit a weekly summary to the supervisor for any required actions.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Compliance Head and IQA team for feedback and corrective action plan maintenance.
  • Work on Compliance manual and SOP as advised by Supervisor.
  • Ensure regular follow-up with Quality Assurance Managers to obtain updates regarding Compliance issues in all respective factories and create a summary report for the Compliance Head to take necessary actions.
  • Initiate the first bulk sample check to ensure proper documentation is included and submit it for review and comments.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of all initial bulk samples, specifying rejected samples with reasons and approved samples for future submission to management as needed.
  • Ensure the effective organization and secure maintenance of all documents and records for the Compliance function.
  • Schedule monthly Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) meetings as directed by the supervisor and effectively communicate clear Meeting Minutes.
  • Respond to emergencies, flag discrepancies, and important issues, and report them to the supervisor for effective corrective action.
  • Liaise with Production Planning & Control (PPC) for maintaining order running factory status.
  • Prepare the required presentations for the Compliance department as advised by Compliance Head.

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Graduate in Textile Manufacturing and Technology from a well-reputed institution
  • 2 to 3 years’ work experience as a Coordinator under the Compliance function, from a reputed factory or buying office.
  • Must be sound data management, reporting, making presentations and maintaining communication with internal & external parties.
  • Should have basic knowledge of Quality and Compliance practices in the Apparel Industry

  • Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines.
