Assistant Quality Assurance Manager/ Quality Auditor

Job Context

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that organizational processes and production comply with the ZXY Quality SOP, requirements of standards, as well as customer, regulatory, and the ZXY’s own requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Adhere ZXY Quality Assurance systems and procedures within manufacturing units, sub contract units such as embroidery, print, washing etc.
  • Ensure ZXY Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place and maintain through entire order to meet required Standards
  • Ensure Quality Auditor (QA) and Quality Controller (QC) are getting complete style file and details, sample approval as per T&A
  • Ensure QA/QC and factories maintain ZXY manufacturing process controls
  • Ensure PP Sample and Tech pack comments have been actioned in bulk
  • Ensure ZXY QA/QC and factory QA team maintain measurement records and the way of measuring is correct through practical measuring bulk production Garments
  • Ensure bulk production is as per PPS and Tech pack
  • Ensure bulk packaging is as per Tech pack and customer comments & manual
  • Check Style files, previous day’s measurement and quality reports of ZXY QA/QC and factory to understand issues and relevant area to focus during factory visits
  • Accompany ZXY QA/QC or factory FM/QAM during process inspection
  • Ensure ZXY Process / Technical SOP is implemented and maintained through the order
  • Check and confirm Bulk production is as per PPS, Tech pack, Trims cards and other Approvals
  • Ensure pressing and packing quality against, tech pack, trim card and other approvals
  • Ensure carton marking, ration and packaging as per Tech pack and other approvals provided by merchandiser

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Graduation, Degree in textile, relevant education on Total Quality Management, Quality Assurance
  • At least 5 to 8 years relevant experience preferably in Quality, Quality control, Quality Control/ Audit, Quality Management
  • Preferably working experience as certified QA from a reputed Brand, senior auditor, audit manager.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following areas: knit and woven (denim and non-denim pants/jackets) Pattern making for knit, woven, Quality Control/Audit, basic on printing, embroidery and washing
  • The applicants should have experience in the following categories men’s, ladies, children and kids wear product safety and process controls
  • Should have good working experience with composite units
  • ISO Lead auditor, working as a QA auditor in reputed 3rd party audit firms or license office will be given preference
  • The candidate should have experienced in the field of Sample Section, print, embroidery, washing, merchandising, Pattern Maker & QA

Additional Job Requirements

  • Knowledge in textile and print will be a definite advantage
  • Should have thorough knowledge about garment measurement & patterns
  • Must have skills in examining and establishing proper quality operations and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
  • Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
  • IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Specially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
  • Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines
