Organization Executive

Our leading European organization is recruiting for an exciting position at our HQ, in the heart of Dhaka. Job Context

The incumbent will be responsible for creating imaginative, eye-catching displays of products in ZXY showroom to help promote the image, products and services, liaise with buyers, organizational executives and other members, also manage day-to-day administrative activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize ZXY in-house showrooms
  • Create appealing and eye-catching visual display
  • Liaise with teams such as business units, design and marketing to create design themes and plans
  • Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing samples and maintain records
  • Maintain the system with all style codes, pictures & information etc.
  • Maintain customer meeting calendar, appointments and fix meetings & schedules
  • Organize inter-departmental meetings of MD with department heads
  • Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Screen telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Organize and maintain diaries, making appointments, fixing meetings & schedules
  • Deal with incoming email, faxes and post / couriers
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing samples
  • Maintain regular sample supplies to showroom and follow up with Designers, Merchandisers and Product Developers
  • Maintain the system with all style codes, pictures & information etc.
  • Maintain customer meeting calendar, appointments and fix meetings & schedules
  • Organize refreshments, lunches etc. for buyer meetings
  • Understand the new fashion trends as well as trends related with fabrics, colors and shapes
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Ensure logistics support for the showrooms
  • Devise and maintain data management and filing

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Business Graduate or Graduate in Fashion Design & technology from a reputed university is preferred
  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Having corporate experience in Apparel industry, Fashion brands, Hospitality and Media industry will be an added advantage

  • Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
  • IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Specially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
  • Ability to multi task and remain organized, meet deadlines
