Asst. Manager/Sr. Executive - Communications

Job Context

This incumbent will be responsible for overall corporate communication strategy and the key communication adviser, conveying ZXY's internal and external messages in correspondence with employees and external stakeholders to keep them informed of company developments and organizational changes. The position will also require create strategies to increase employee awareness and promote productivity in a way that attempts to maintain a positive image of the company.

Job Responsibilities


  • Ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company.
  • Distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information.
  • Develop print materials and branding strategies for employee use.
  • Provide communications coaching for employees.
  • Plan and execute Internal Employee ambassadorship engagements
  • Manage communications and public relations budget.
  • Streamline employee engagement in alignment with Communications Strategy as well as Company strategy and values
  • Execute planned activities for management communication on time, in accordance with pre-agreed Internal Communications calendar
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on status of internal communication activity plans and share with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Propose communications content requirements to ensure company reputation and communication agenda
  • Build employee awareness to achieve internal communications objective through the efficient use of all communication channels
  • Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal audiences, including employee


  • Serve as the company spokesperson to the media and the general public.
  • Develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the company's policies or position on issues.
  • Create marketing strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand recognition and customer satisfaction
  • Create and manage release dates for recurring publications
  • Manage projects to ensure content is publication-ready and in by the deadline
  • Prepare or edit organizational publications for external audiences, including stockholders’ reports.
  • Respond to requests for information from the media or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.
  • Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for clients to increase product and service awareness and to promote goodwill.
  • Turn complex research and data into clear, compelling stories for clients.
  • Produce press articles, social media content brochures, slide presentations, event materials, email newsletters, reports, briefs, factsheets, and animation scripts in clear and jargon-free language to reach the right audiences.
  • Plan and manage the buyer communication strategy.
  • Draft media statements, answer media inquiries, compile publications, plan events and press conferences.

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • At least 5 to 8 years relevant work experience as Communications/PR/Corporate Affairs/Marketing
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Language, Psychology, or Media Studies
  • Knowing Foreign languages (French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese) would be a bonus
  • Skilled in communications, proposal development, grant writing, event management, media relations and journalism.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern methods of communication like advertising or marketing, social media, journalism, and writing.
