Manager/ Assistant Manager Learning and Development (Re-Advertisement)

Tour Your Responsibilities

As an inspirational leader you will drive the implementation of corporate learning and development (L&D) strategies, plans and policies which are aligned with and facilitate the delivery of ZXY’s Strategic Plan. You will provide specialist expertise in the development of organizational culture, performance management, leadership, employee engagement and all aspects of organizational change and development to make a positive impact while cultivating exceptional experiences throughout the organization.

As a Training & Development Manager, your primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Design and deliver Talent and Leadership Development interventions that support the execution of business strategies and enhance business performance
  • Implement best practices to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors impacting employee engagement
  • Develop and implement impactful organization-wide employee learning and engagement initiatives
  • Develop long-term strategies and best-in-class initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of excellence and high engagement
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Develop, maintain and deliver key Talent programs and supporting the overall development of capability across the organization as per corporate training calendar
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Draw an overall as well as individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods and develop learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans
  • Identify internal resource persons for specific training and arrange the training internally
  • Liaise with external training vendors to provide training (which cannot be met from internal resources)
  • Ensure each employee receives minimum 24 hours (3 days) training throughout the year
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness (pre and post), success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Track the development of each participants after attending the training
  • Manage training and employee engagement budget
  • Prepare annual employee engagement calendar
  • Execute and manage the events in close alliance with cross functional teams.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development
  • Lead rewards and recognition strategy and outcomes including reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations for organization-wide recognition programs
  • Continuously evaluate innovative solutions to enhance the employee experiences at ZXY International

What You Bring to Us:

Experience and Educational

  • At least 5 years’ experience with an emphasis on employee engagement and learning and development
  • BBA/MBA from reputed university in Human Resources Management
  • Psychology and Organizational Behavior qualifications is desirable
  • Post-Graduate in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage


  • High quality relationship management, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking, planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to support the management of change
  • Presence and credibility to work with the executive team and senior colleagues across the ZXY
  • Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities
  • Evidence of strong customer focus, with the ability to create excellent working relationships at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT Literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
