Purpose of the Job: |

|
The primary objective of this role is to enhance group revenue and profitability through the acquisition of new business prospects. This will be achieved by leveraging financial and market intelligence, utilizing data repositories to generate comprehensive reports, and identifying actionable data patterns and trends.

Major Responsibilities |
|
|

|
- Conduct competitive market analysis by evaluating product, market, or share trends.
- Synthesize contemporary business intelligence and trend data to inform strategic recommendations.
- Engage with a broad network of stakeholders—including customers, competitors, suppliers, and industry organizations—to remain informed on prevailing industry trends.
- Ensure the timely dissemination of business intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
- Collect and consolidate business intelligence from industry reports, public sources, field assessments, and proprietary databases.
- Identify and scrutinize industry and geographic trends with implications for business strategy.
- Assess technological trends to pinpoint emerging markets for product development or enhance existing product sales.
- Produce standard and customized reports that aggregate business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess current and potential clients utilizing advanced business intelligence tools.
- Maintain and optimize business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, and methodologies.
- Execute additional responsibilities as required.

Internal & External Relationship: |

- Internal: All directors of the board, business unit heads and departmental heads.
- External: National chamber bodies, market research agencies, banks and financial institutions.

Required key skills (functional/technical) |
|
 |
|
|
- Knowledge on business development methods, quantitative business analysis, business modeling and feasibility study and an advanced level user of Microsoft Excel and other related software packs
- Knowledge on market research and intelligence gathering
- Knowledge on financial management, Costing, budgeting and forecasting
|

|
Required qualifications/experience |
|
|
 |
|
|
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fields preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis required including business development modelling preferably in Group Company setup or in a research team of Financial Institutions/Merchant Banks/Financial Development Parter organizations
- Experience of working in SAP/ERP environment
|
