Job Context
The qualified candidate will be responsible for company`s accounting, financial, and operational activities. He will supervise the overall function of the Finance & Accounts Department and monitor company budgets, VAT & Stamps, tax, banking, and other financial activities to achieve the company`s goal and objective.
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Implementing accounts & finance-related strategic business policies, rules & regulations
- Preparing financial plan and annual budget
- Keeping record of agents payment and receiving activities
- Checking bill vouchers and supporting documents
- Compile and complete monthly quarterly and yearly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet & cash flow statement, etc.) as per Bangladesh Accounting Standard (BAS) and report to management
- Develop and monitor accounts & financial operation, reporting, and internal audit system
- Understand financial laws, tax implications, and regulatory mechanisms around investments and advise management for necessary action to save cost & maximize gain
- Ensure all regulatory compliance relating to the Company Act, Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, Tax Return, VAT, Company Closing, Company law, etc.
- Responsible for fund management, investments, banking issue, inventory, business planning analysis, new project viability analysis, audit, cost control, and asset management
- Enter financial information into Microsoft excel and software
- Closely deal with banks and financial institutions
- Assisting manager by performing related duties

Educational Requirements
- BBA / MBA in Accounting
- ACA / ACCA / CPA will get preference
Experience Requirements
- At least 3-4 years
- Skills Required: Accounting and Finance, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Business Planning and Budgeting, Data Analysis, Experience in using Accounts Software, In-depth knowledge of local Income Tax and VAT laws.
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in English
- Sound knowledge on computer literacy specially on MS Office, Bangla Typing and Internet
- Adequate knowledge of HR, Admin and labor law is an added advantage
- Should have competency with ERP software-based accounting system
- Ability to effectively handle multiple simultaneous tasks
- Self-motivated, possess excellent written and oral communication skills and interact with all management and staff levels
