SALE NOTICE OF USED IT EQUIPMENT AND MOTORBIKES

WorldFish is an international, nonprofit research organization that harnesses the potential of fisheries and aquaculture to strengthen livelihoods and improve food and nutrition security. Globally, more than 1 billion people obtain most of their animal protein from fish and 800 million depend on fisheries and aquaculture for their livelihoods. WorldFish is a member of CGIAR , a global research partnership for a food-secure future.

WorldFish Bangladesh shall dispose of the following used items through auction:

  1. 313 Units of IT Equipment (to be sold in bulk only)
  2. 14 Motorbikes (can be purchased individually or in bulk

Sealed or email quotations are hereby invited from individuals or institutions in writing, mentioning the full name, address, and contact number. The following conditions regarding the items are to be noted (to be sold on an "as is where is" basis on the day of the sale):

1. IT Equipment:

  • Total Units: 313
  • Condition: Mixed, used for official purposes at WorldFish Bangladesh. Detailed lists and
    individual conditions of each item can be found [HERE].

2. Motorbikes:

  • Total Units: 14
  • Condition: Used for official purposes at WorldFish Bangladesh. Detailed lists and individual
    conditions of each motorbike can be found [HERE].

3. Registration Requirement for Motorbikes:

  • The buyer(s) must register the motorbike(s) in their name within one month from the date of sale. WorldFish will notify the BRTA (Bangladesh Road Transport Authority) of the disposal/sale.

4. Bidding Process:

  • Bidders may physically inspect the items at WorldFish Bangladesh Office, Flat A4-B4, House #03, Road #13, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212 during office hours (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) on working days. ICT items will be available for inspection only on 15-16 September 2024, while motorbikes will be available for inspection from now until 17 September 2024.

  • Sealed price quotations must be dropped in the tender box kept at the Reception, WorldFish Bangladesh Office, Flat A4-B4, House #03, Road #13, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212, or sent via email to procurement.wfbd@worldfishcenter.org on or before 5:00 PM on 17 September 2024.

  • The envelope or email must contain the subject line "Quotation for Motorcycle" for motorbikes and "Quotation for ICT Equipment" for IT items.

5. Required Documents:

  • Individuals: a) NID/Passport copy
  • Institutions: a) Company letterhead, b) NID copy of the owner.
  • Any bid submitted without the mentioned documents will be disqualified.

6. Successful Bidders:

  • A letter will be issued to the successful bidder(s) for taking delivery of the items within 10 (ten) days from the date of issuance of the letter.

7. Reservation Rights:

  • WorldFish reserves the right to accept or decline any or all of the tenders without providing any reasons whatsoever.
