Embedded in local, national, and international partnerships, our work sets agendas, builds capacities, and supports decision-making for climate action, food and nutrition security, sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, blue economy, OneHealth, and AgriTech, integrating gender, youth, and social inclusion.

ABOUT THE POSITION

WorldFish Bangladesh and South Asia is hiring Data Enumerator for Artemia4 Bangladesh project to conduct the midline survey. This position will be based at WorldFish’s country office in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh with extensive field visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-test and finalize the questionnaire
  • Prepare census list to develop sample frame for specific salt, Artemia and aquaculture farmers of the Cox’s Bazar district.
  • Conduct survey through Kobo software, data entry, and data checking in Microsoft Excel

Requirements

This job is open to all applicants with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aquaculture/Fisheries/ Agricultural Economics.
  • Experiences in conducting survey, data entry using KoBo Software will be preferred
  • Having Motorcycle driving license will be an added advantage.

Eligibility and Location

These 3 position is open to National applicants and will be based in Cox’s bazar, Bangladesh with extensive field visit. Interviews are expected to be held in March 2023 and only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend the interview. The successful candidate should be available as soon as possible to serve 3 months short term contract with the possibility of contract renewal depending on performance and funding availability.
