Job Responsibilities

Administration

• Primary responsibility is translation of financial and business reports between Korean and English, as a translator/interpreter role.
• Assist Korean-speaking customers with their banking needs, including account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution.
• Serve Korean-speaking customers by processing their transactions, handling deposits, withdrawals, and other routine banking tasks.
• Work with Korean-speaking clients to explain loan options, assist with loan applications, and guide them through the lending process.
• Specialize in reporting for Korean stakeholders within the bank and may be responsible for creating reports in the Korean language with the Global Head Office.
• Preparing reports on the performance and activities of international branches, including those in Korea. These reports could be in Korean and are typically shared with the head office.
• Ensuring legal compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Coordinate office maintenance and repairs also ensure workplace safety.
• Coordinate meetings, conferences and special events.
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned. 

Educational Qualification & Other Competencies

• Master’s Degree from any reputed Public/Private/Foreign University with a good academic record of accomplishment.
• Certification from Korean University and proficiency in Korean language will be considered as a Special Qualification.
• Banking experience will add value.
• Having knowledge on banking regulatory framework and guidelines on Asset Liability Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel & Power-Point.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in Bengali, English and Korean.
