Position : Branch/ Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Prime focus of the post will be to achieve Business Target in terms of Liability, Asset & profit through quality business booking and maintenance of the Customers relationships thus keeping the flow of healthy portfolio for the Branch.
  • Handling customer complaints in a positive manner and converting complaints into service improvement opportunities.
  • Pro-actively analyzing and formulating patterns of customer`s changing needs of financial services and recommending / suggesting ways to tackle those.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for faster and efficient customer service.
  • Supervise the maintenance of adequate liquidity management (local & foreign) for smooth branch operations.
  • Ensuring that the financials of the branch are under control and the branch adheres to the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) norms at all times.
  • Create and implement business strategy according to local social dynamics in branch.
  • Strong network within and outside the branch.
  • Supervising Key Areas including Marketing, Business Channel Development, Team Development, Cost Management, Revenue Generation.
  • The role of Manager will be pervasive in a wide range of activities that ensure smooth functioning of the day to day Banking operations and services to the customer.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives and incentive campaigns are properly advised to the customers.
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase business.
  • Assessment & justification of client's requirement, financial standing, working capital & cash flow analysis, debt service capacity analysis etc. Risk Identification, Risk analysis & mitigating factors of investment, NPV, IRR, Sensitivity Analysis, collateral security analysis, transaction record & account performance analysis, business & market analysis.
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.

Educational Qualification & Other Competencies

  • Master's/MBA degree from any reputed university with satisfactory academic track record.
  • The candidate must have at least Fifteen (15) years relevant experience in reputed Bank; minimum three (3) years of experience as Branch Operation Manager/ Business development manager / Branch Manager.
  • Good knowledge of Proactive and driven to achieve set targets and service standards.
  • Sound knowledge in Corporate Marketing, Business Operations, Business Development, local banking laws, regulations, and Negotiable Instrument Act, Loan Products and Deposit Products etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skill and leadership quality is much desired.
  • Strong analytical ability.
