WaterAid is looking for a deserving, dynamic, passionate and self-driven applicants for the role of Young Professional’ for its country programme in Bangladesh under Finance Team, who does not have any work experience but is willing to build up career in the development field with focus on Finance and Accounting.

‘Young Professional’ (YP) does not mean a ‘staff’ employed by WaterAid Bangladesh, this is a special programme through which WaterAid provides adequate support and opportunity through one year apprenticeship to the Bangladeshi young, fresh and talented aspirants having good academic background so that they can groom them up in the organizational environment, obtain relevant experience and can prepare themselves to contribute professionally to any organizational set-up.
  
Criteria for application:

  • Fresh post-graduation in Accounting or Finance from a reputed and renowned University/College possessing with good academic results (CGPA 3.00 & above in the scale of 4.00 and 4.00 & above in the scale of 5.00; no second class or CGPA below 60% throughout academic career).  
  • Demonstrated excellence on extracurricular activities (to mention in the CV)
  • Bangladeshi national, age maximum 26 years as on 1ST November 2022
  • Freshers preferred

Key areas of work: The role is mainly responsible for managing petty cash fund, staff advance payment and monitoring, bank reconciliation, voucher filling and documentation, assisting in day-to-day financial operation as and when require, maintaining coordination with other teams within the organization.

Engagement tenure: One (01) year
Workstation: Country Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Working hour: Full time (05 days in a week with minimum 37.5 hours per week)
Monthly Payment: BDT 30,000 (consolidated)
Cell phone allowance: BDT 1,000/- per month
Festival allowance: BDT 30,000/- for the completed year, given on a pro rata basis if engagement is less than a year.
