WaterAid is at an exciting time. With an ambition to bring clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene to everyone, everywhere by 2030, there’s a need for greater engagement in all platforms with all people from different backgrounds; The Communications Officer – Campaigns is a position in communications, media and campaigns team under the policy & advocacy department, which leads the engagement and development of relationships with youth and likely minded organisations, individuals, networks and the community to increase collective voice towards water, sanitation and hygiene. The role plays a key part in the delivery of WaterAid’s campaigns strategy for diverse partnerships and projects under exciting programmes nationally and globally. This position will provide support to the ongoing collaborations and projects, including support to youth platform aimed at SDG6 teams and volunteers. This position will also support country director’s office on external and internal communications.

Requisite qualifications and experience:
Education: Master’s or equivalent degree in social sciences, communications, marketing, or relevant subject from any recognized university.
Experience, Skills, and competencies:
- At least 03 years’ experience in the relevant field. For fast-track professional record with required expertise, this may be relaxed.
- Demonstrated expertise on campaigns, audience engagement, outreach, and communication activities of diverse stakeholder and passionate about social mobilization and fundraising.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, communications and writing skills both in Bangla & English
- Aptitude for innovation, to identify and explore new methods of working
- Must be a team player, proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a mixed team.
- High level of pro-activeness and creativity, self-motivated and positive attitude in providing deliverables maintaining a high standard interpersonal professional relationship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to produce standard outputs within tight deadlines in a very busy environment.
- Organised and problem-solving mentality, capable of working under pressure and juggling with multiple priorities.
- Demonstrate respect for gender, diversity, organizational cultural and promote safeguarding and uphold organizational values
