Summary of Assignment:
The incumbent will support Partner Agencies of WaterAid Consortium, and the Project Management Unit of NILG-HLP, Paurashavas, and Union Parishads to follow-up, prepare, and disseminate good practices/fact sheets for influencing policy, learning and advocacy initiatives on a day-to-day basis. This temporary assignment will be administered by the WAB and funded through NILG-HLP Project expenditures. This is a project-based engagement, will be managed by WAB under HLP project. S/he will also have working relationship with NILG – HLP project staff and will be based in NILG office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing Good Practice posters that will emerge from HLP Upazila Workshops.
- Assist in preparing Good Practice Fact Sheets that will emerge from HLP UP and Pourashava Network Workshops.
- Assist in preparing minimum two Good Practice Learning Notes that will emerge from HLP Best Practices,
- Assist in preparing minimum two Good Practice Policy Advocacy Notes that will emerge from HLP Thematic Workshops.
- Prepare and disseminate lessons learned documentation in collaboration with implementing partners
- Soft skill designing and photo editing would be an asset for the deserving candidate, however, basic idea about mobile app and website data and content entry is desirable.
Requisite qualification and competencies:
Essential
- At least a first-level university degree/honors with good academic background throughout academic life (no second class or CGPA below 3.5).
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Bangla.
- Team player with mutual trust and understanding in a mixed team.
- Capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Capable to compose in Bangla (Bijoy Unicode/Avro)
Desirable
- Experience in working with national and international agencies as intern and/or junior professional.
- Have experience of preparing reports, writing briefs, articles, and case studies suitable for sharing across multiple platforms, including social media.
- Knowledge and experience of working in Bangladesh.
