WARBE (The Welfare Association for the Rights of Bangladeshi Emigrants) Development Foundation is a non-profit organization working in the field of migration and development in Bangladesh since 1997. WARBE DF is the brainchild of returnee migrants, committed to carrying out programs and activities for the development and betterment of the migrant community. WARBE DF took the pioneer role in Bangladesh as a migrant workers’ association to deal with the issues of migrants’ rights. WARBE Development Foundation has undertaken many development activities at the grassroots level as well as the national and international level for the protection of the rights, well-being and the dignity of migrant workers and their families; to empower and enable them to contribute to the socio-economic development at the micro and macro level and to play a stronger and effective role in the political arena.

WARBE Development Foundation is now implementing a project “Promoting Migrants Rights and Livelihood of Potential and Returnee Migrants and Their Families” supported by AWO International with the objective is to migrants are supported by the government laws and policies and ensure safe & fairer migration through reducing risky and irregular migration. 

As per the planning of the project, WARBE DF has decided to develop ToR on Framework of Coordination among Relevant Government Ministries/agencies. The objective of this assignment is to getting concerned government agencies on board on importance of developing framework of coordination and their buy in/agreement by signing of ToR developed through consultative & participatory process. And this framework will improve coordination and awareness of relevant stakeholders at all levels. For this purpose, one experienced Consultant will be hired for this assignment.

So, an individual Consultant needs to be contacted with WARBE Development Foundation to carry out the above mentioned tasks as per the Terms of Reference (ToR).
