This role involves providing comprehensive technical support to ensure the successful execution of the Education programme, encompassing Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and Government Primary School (GPS) support within the VSO ACTIVE project. S/he will ensure all sorts of technical support to map and implement contextualized Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) curriculum; ensure a child-friendly learning environment; capacity building of mother/sister/aunt/community volunteers by developing low-cost/no-cost modules, training packages; promoting education to the communities, participate in different working groups under related cluster, highlight VSOB’s contribution for education and showcase VSOB’s education programme. This role will also participate in evidencing learning documents and study under the Active Citizenship Through Inclusive Volunteering & Empowerment (ACTIVE) project.

VSO Bangladesh is implementing the Active Citizenship Through Inclusive Volunteering & Empowerment (ACTIVE) project in Cox’s Bazar and other districts of Bangladesh. ACTIVE Project Bangladesh's main goal is to create a climate and gender-responsive environment for marginalized communities and become active citizens in Bangladesh. This is an integrated project aiming to provide access to quality education for children and strengthen the education system by focusing on Early childhood development, primary education support and school improvement plans. The project also aims to increase the empowerment of adolescents, women, and youth through capacity development, linkage, and access to services in government line departments and private sectors focusing on agroecology and sustainable livelihood. Additionally, the aim is to develop youth platforms all over the country and create opportunities for youth-led development and advocacy initiatives to achieve targeted Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) goals.
