Position: Technical Support Specialist-IT

Job Responsibilities

  • 1 year Contract position, “Contractor shall be deployed to Chevron”
  • Work location is in Sylhet with working schedule of 14/14
  • Provide support for Desktop users.
  • Install/configure printers, scanner and all other standard hardware.
  • LAN troubleshooting.
  • Hardware troubleshooting.
  • Printer troubleshooting.
  • Regular data backup on weekly basis of the windows servers and retain as per the COMPANY standard.
  • Develop familiarity with the COMPANY’S customized software.
  • Log helpdesk calls.
  • Maintain BPC Hardware Inventory
  • Prepare routine helpdesk related reports.
  • Follow and enforce Information Protection (IP) Policy of the COMPANY.
  • Maintain liaison with and follow directives set forth by the COMPANY’S IC&T Department.

Educational Requirements 

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science graduate from leading Universities.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements

  • 3 years of working experience in IT support services
  • Advanced computer skills with Windows OS, MS Office Applications.
  • Strong efficiency in Hardware/Software installation, troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical, investigative and document management skills.
