Plan and formulate strategy to achieve the Budget. Set goals, objectives and KPI for each members of the Unit and implement the companies approved strategy / plan to facilitate achievement of related short and long term business goals in the most effective and efficient manner.

Oversee the development and subsequent implementation of annual plans by the individual departments/functions comprising Corporate Business to ensure achievement of pre-set targets/objectives, including but not limited to business growth and expansion.

Manage the development and subsequent implementation of Corporate Business best practices across all activities / operations comprising the corporate Business Department to promote efficiencies in work process, ultimately resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

Take a consultative approach to understand client’s objectives, effectively identifies their financial needs, implements appropriate financial solutions and undertake ongoing review and assessment to ensure plan execution.

Review/analyze the Corporate Business Department management accounts (comprising the balance sheet, income statement along with the budgeted figures) on a monthly basis and positively address adverse variances noted with the respective departmental/function heads.

Ensure the provision of value added corporate products and services to existing / potential corporate business customers who seek banking relationships with the FI.

Ensure that the departmental heads provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the Compliance function, as and when required.

Strive to maintain continuous compliance of the policies / procedures with prevailing practices / regulations pertaining to Corporate Business promulgated by the respective regulators (Central Bank as well as other regulatory bodies).

Responsible for overseeing the process of developing and managing relationships with Financial Institutions, Banks and strengthening existing relationships.

Oversee the roll-out of innovative corporate business products by the respective heads of departments / functions and monitor their performance.

Manage, control, monitor and assume responsibility for the Corporate Business risk profile and portfolio quality in line with the expectations of Credit Committee / Executive Committee/ Board of Directors.

Monitor / review the corporate business portfolio by segment on overall basis and by product, corporate profile, country, industry and other parameters on periodic basis to evaluate the quality and performance of the same.

Coordinate Corporate Business marketing initiatives with other line department / groups to maximize cross-selling and advisory services opportunities for the benefit of the client and the Group as a whole.

Hold meetings with staff and assess their performance as well as the function’s overall performance on a regular basis.

Educational Requirements:

Masters in Accounting/ Finance/Banking/ Marketing/Economics/Business Administration from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the relevant field with 5 years at a senior position in corporate banking in a reputed NBFI/Bank.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bangla and English.

Should have literacy in computer operation (Especially in MS Office and Various Software).
