U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Program Assistant (Project Assistant).

Under the direct supervision of the Resident Legal Advisor (RLA), the Project Assistant (PA) provides support and assistance to DOJ/OPDAT’s overall program implementation. In coordination with the Assistant Legal Advisor (ALA), the PA will monitor the timely implementation of all programs within the State/Counterterrorism (CT) and International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) portfolios.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Human Rights, International Politics, Criminal Justice, Accounting is required. (You must attach a copy of your certificates along with your application form.)
- Minimum of two years of project coordination involving donor and/or government funded programs, including project and/or program management assistance is required. Experience in criminal justice reform, international humanitarian law, and/or international human rights and access to justice is required.
- Language: Fluent in English and Bangla (Read/Write/Speak) is required. This may be tested.
