U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Security Investigator.

Under the supervision of the Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Site Security Manager (SSM), serves as the Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI)/Security Investigator for all security related activities associated with the construction of the New Embassy Compound (NEC)/ New Consulate Compound (NCC)/ Major Rehabilitation. Works independently and provides security and secretarial services in support of the project including background investigations, screening calls, file maintenance, etc. Maintains liaison with local police, OBO contractors, Local Guard Force (LGF), security organizations and other security authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) is required. (U.S. equivalent two years of post-secondary education). (You must attach a copy of your degree certificate along with your application form.)
• Minimum three years of security related experience of progressively responsible experience in investigative work with police or private security organization.
• Level III (good working knowledge) in English, both written and spoken, Level IV (fluent) in Bangla.  This may be tested.
