Job Context:

  • Number of positions: 8-10
  • Project: Leadership to Ensure Adequate Nutrition (LEAN)
  • Donor: The European Union
  • Duration: 3 Months
  • Working hours: 40/week (8 hours/day)
  • Reporting to: Project Director/Technical Coordinator-VCD and MS

Job Responsibilities:

  • Closely work with consortium partners and colleagues engaged for village-level DRR plan.
  • Ensure proper data analysis, report preparation (at least 4 reports/day), and submission to supervisor.
  • Monitor the progress of the village-level DRR planning process and initiate for necessary actions to accomplish the task on time with quality.

Additional Requirements:

  • LEAN is looking for fresh graduates for a short-term internship in disaster risk management.
  • Research / report writing experience.
  • Duration: Initially 3 months without expectation of employment or extension
  • Reporting: Technical Coordinator-VCD & MS, Leadership to Ensure Adequate Nutrition (LEAN)
  • Duty Station: Dhaka with travel to the field/Chittagong Hill Tracts (If required)

Salary:

  • Gross BDT 15000 stipend inclusive of all. Traveled related cost, accommodation, food etc. shall be borne by LEAN project for all official visits/travel out of station as per respective organization policy.
