The company is looking for a dynamic, energetic and proactive individual to fill the position of Human Recourses Manager for Retail, Food & Beverage Division

Job Context:

HR- Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of effective HR operation and Training & Development of Human Resources for Unimart’s Retail, Food and Beverage unit including training and development of manpower resources , also responsible for growing and increasing performance quality throughout the Retail and Food and Beverage team  which will impact on stakeholders’ satisfaction from day to day service-oriented performance monitoring and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Recruitment, Orientation and Induction for new hire. 
  • Ensure Salary, Benefits and other compensation aligned with market trend.
  • Perform as a mediator in case to manage problem at workplace and ensure peace and harmony.
  • Ensure distant service work environment when and where necessary to enable employees are performing as business need.
  • Ensure Effective Exit Interview with proper exist and replacement plan.
  • Ensure all recruitment related documentation and proper filing.
  • Ensure HR administration roles are properly managed within desirable timeframe.
  • Coordinate Head of HR and Unimart Management by preparing and updating succession plan with necessary engagement.
  • Budget analysis and prepare for approval with necessary office memo writing.
  • Job analysis to prepare Job Description, Terms of References and orientation on overall engagement.    
  • Discuss with Head of different department and ensure Human Resource Planning, Performance Development Plan and Management.
  • Ensure a diversified workforce from different perspective regardless of Gender, Ethnicity, Age, Religion.
  • Ensure HR data is timely and accurately uploaded in ERP and all personnel files are preserved safely in a safe locker with proper tracking.
  • Ensure Payroll data are updated and checked by Internal Audit.
  • Assessment of Staff Retention difficulties with proper evidence and data analysis.
  • Transform leadership across team member by empowering and engaging with various functional responsibilities to manage critical issues.
  • Risk analysis and necessary plan setting to overcome various challenges.
  • Effectively work with Legal Advisor and it’s Team to implement change management.
  • Initiate for annual staff gathering/ retreat to make a bridge among Management and Employees.
  • Initiate to design and conduct workshop for senior management to understand business need, various challenges and HR strategy.
  • Ensue disciplinary action with proper investigation and recommendation from management.
  • Travel various outlets and conduct one to one or group meeting to solve various problem.
  • Monthly HR report generate and checking before salary disbursement.
  • Determines training needs assessment and arranged training for Retail and Food and Beverage.
  • Assists Head of HR to prepare training budget.
  • Monitor training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and update as necessary.
  • Ensure that all technical training modules and visuals are up-to-date.
  • Perform as a staff counsellor in terms of family, health, career, finance and employee relations issues and advise on different perspective of welfare.
  • Ensure work life balance to flourish for more productivity and innovative.

Educational Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Master’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

  • 10 year (s) of working experience in the field of Hypermarket/ Super shop in particular areas of Retail, Food and Beverage. Work experiences in reputed national or International organization is desirable with preferable role as an Assistant Manager/Manager in a reputed super shop (Retail, Food and Beverage).

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in spoken and written in English and Bangla are essential. Desirable Computer skills in MS office is essential.

Job Location: Dhaka or as per job requirement

Salary: As per market practice
