The United International University (UIU) strives for becoming a center of excellence in education in the South Asian region. It has been keenly pursuing to establish a pleasant and ambient teaching-learning-research environment. UIU is planning to launch Department of Civil Engineering (CE) very soon. With this end in view, the university is looking for suitable candidates for appointment to the following full-time teaching positions in the Department of Civil Engineering (CE).

Professor
Civil Engineering
  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the relevant subject having a very high academic distinction and reputation as an eminent scholar in his/her field with a minimum 10 (ten) years of active experience with a minimum of 5 (five) years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research.
  • Must have at least 15 (fifteen) research publications of outstanding merit  having a total impact factor (Reuter-Thompson Impact factor) equal to or more than 4.0.
Associate Professor
Civil Engineering
  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. or its equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum 5 (five) years of active experience with a minimum of 3 (three) years of post-Ph.D. active teaching/research experience.

  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. or its equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum 8 (eight) years of active (may not be post-Ph.D.) experience.
  • Must have at least 8 (eight) research publications having a total impact factor (by Reuter -Thompson) of equal to or more than 2.0.
Lecturer
Civil Engineering
  • Candidates must have a 4-year Bachelor/Master Degree in the relevant subject. Candidates with CGPA less than 3.5 on a scale of 4.0 or 1st Division/Class in any stage of education will not be considered.
  • For the position of Professor/Associate Professor, experience in developing and leading a new Department would be required.
