Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance from a reputed university.
- ACCA Preferred
- MBA from top business school preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the teams including accounts & finance, commercial, Procurement, Inventory & SCM.
- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization regarding long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Communicate, engage, and interact with Managing Director, Directors and Executive Leadership Team.
- Select and engage consultants and auditors.
- Help HR to Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting and payroll staff as required.
- Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Monitor Credit Collection.
- Monitor banking and Credit lines and ensure effective utilization of the credit lines.
- Develop, Review and analyze job costing instant reports for each running projects.
- Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
- Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of tax returns.
- Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
Experience Requirements: At least 10 years.
Additional Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a Head of Accounts in a mid-private corporation is preferable.
- 4+ years of total accounting or finance experience in higher mgt role.
- Background coordinating with different departments to manage and/or upgrade the accounting system.
- "Hands-On" ERP Systems Experience is preferred.
- Must be a proficient user of QuickBooks.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence - ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
- Experience to handle import related issues.
Salary Range: Attractive salary based on experience and qualification for deserving candidates.
Job Location: 4-6 Months at Mohammadpur, later at Basundhara R/A.
