Company Information/Who we are:
Trident Shipping Line Ltd, was established in the year 2004 and subsequently went into a joint venture organization from June 2010 with Gold Star Line Ltd-Hong Kong & local Bangladeshi partner.

The organization presently represents 3 major prestigious lines covering the globe.

They are as follows: -

1. Gold Star Line Ltd.-Hong Kong: – Operates between the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent and East Africa, West Africa, and South Africa.
   
2. Seth Shipping Ltd: - Operates in the long-haul sectors of Europe, and the North & South American regions, and in the region of the Near East Asia in the Mediterranean Area, also North Africa and Australia.
   
3. Laurel Navigation (Mauritius) Ltd: - Operates in the Middle East Area and Malaysia.
   Trident Shipping covers the two main ports of Bangladesh, Chittagong & Mongla with their services.
   It is presently running a direct feeder service from Ctg to Port Kelang in Malaysia, and Singapore.

Job Context
We are looking for an active, highly driven, organized, trustworthy Country Manager (CM) who knows the value of cooperation and has a thorough grasp of prospecting and building good connections with consumers.

Job Functions

• Act as Company Representative for local and principal’s investment in Bangladesh, taking personal responsibility for strengthening senior relationships and improving the quality and quantity of our business with customers/ partners.
  
• Align the objectives of Branch Offices and various functional departments in Bangladesh with Principal’s corporate objectives; implement reporting and follow-up mechanisms to monitor progress and compliance.
  
• Direct profit & loss responsibility for this operating entity; achieve budget forecast in terms of sales, revenues, costs, operational profits as well as market share.
  
• Formulate plans, lead, and implement effective business strategies designed to increase sales revenues and operational profits generated through existing and new business lines, in line with global strategy.
  
• Demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills to ensure continuity and staff development, whilst recognizing the importance of innovation and diversification
  
• Frequently Travel to various location in Bangladesh
  
• Deliver results through performance monitoring, measurement and KPI adherence.
  
• Responsible for managing all operations within a country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash, and quality targets.
  
• Prepare annual country budget and produce a detailed business operating plan based on the frequency decided by the HO.
  
• Produce and discuss business performance reports as and when demanded by HO.

Employment Status: Full-time (Contractual)

Educational Requirements

• Masters/MBA in any discipline / Equivalent degrees in relevant fields.

Priority Requirement:

• Certification of Shipping Management/ Shipping related certifications will be added an advantage.
  Experience Requirements
  
• Must have vast experience of working in multinational/joint venture company with leading position of atlease 10 years, shipping sector work experience will be added priority to the candidate’s profile, candidates from other sectors can be applied who is confident to take over responsibility within one month and have extreme knowledge of shipping market. (MLO or FF)

Additional Requirements

• Applicant should have sound knowledge of Computer, System, and latest Technologies.
  
• Have leadership qualities and abilities to drive manpower into an extreme success.
  
• Proactive and able to execute tasks efficiently in any situation.
  
• Able to prepare reports using latest techniques, familiar with PPT presentation to the principals.
  
• Obviously “Out of the Box” thinking capability.
  
• Market pre and post reading capability and adaptability of changing strategy
  
• Must have plan for long term and non-fluctuating mentality.
  
• Age limit should up to 45 yrs.

Job Location: Dhaka & Chittagong

Salary: Negotiable/ Handsome CTC
