Vacancies under “Shifting the power to grassroots communities through strengthening farmer led CSOs and improving their engagement in the sustainable development process (SWABOL)” project

Traidcraft Exchange globally branded as Transform trade works for trade and climate justice. In South Asia and East Africa, we support farmers, workers and artisans to benefit from more sustainable and equitable trade, and in the UK we advocate and campaign for changes to business practices and government policy.

It is an exciting time to join our organisation. Following a strategic review, we are embarking on a process of change to shift power to groups in the global south, and to rethink the way we work in the UK. We are committed to equality and providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.  We particularly welcome applications from those who are significantly underrepresented in our sector and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Traidcraft recently started an EU funded governance project, SWABOL that contributes to achieving the global objective by strengthening Federated Smallholder Farmer-led Civil Society Organisations (FSFCSOs) as strong, independent actors of good governance and development in their own right. We are looking for 1 enthusiastic candidate to take up Field Team Leader role under this project.

Please find the detailed Job Description and the application form. Please note all applicants need to fill the prescribed application form in full and any application other than in prescribed form will not be considered for short listing.

Please mention “Application for Field Team Leader” in the subject line of your email. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for next round of the recruitment process.
