Job Context

• TMSS ICT Ltd. is looking for senior server engineer who have working experience with Linux Server.

Job Responsibilities

• Configure, install, maintain & troubleshoot Web Application, Web Server, FTP Server, PLEX Server on Linux environment.
• To design and implement new server or storage infrastructure, as well as provide day-to-day monitoring, capacity planning and management of the existing estate.
• Monitoring Remote WHM Server, Customized VPS Server (Linux) and reporting to the vendor for smooth running of company business.
• Knowledge on Single server and Multi-server configuration
• Monitor performance, maintain & control total network by Mikrotik.
• Work experience in VMware environment.
• Ensure all necessary hardware, software and network related support to the end user when required
• Experience in installing, supporting and maintaining server and storage hardware.
• Setup and maintain company's computer network which includes LAN and WAN network and maintain network router like Mikrotik, Fortinet firewall
• Maintain email gateway and work in Linux platform
• Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
• Experience in backup and recovery of Virtual machines and virtual servers.
• Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center
• Firewall and security, IP Planning, Routing, WAN, network architecture design, VPN
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server 2005/2008 DBA (added advantage)
• Knowledge of Web Server (Apache, Ngnix, IIS, FTP, SSL, and NFS+ Windows Linux connectivity/networking
• Preferable Professional Certification (Linux/RHCSA/CCNA/CCNP/MCSA)
• Technical knowledge in DevOps Tools (Git and GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet/Chef/Ansible, CircleCI, PHPUnit, CodeDeploy)
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Amazon Web Services such as EC2, RDS, S3 etc
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
• Time management skills, Strong interpersonal and communications skills, Strong strategic thinking ability along with good analytical skills, networking skills, and must be a Team Player.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology from a reputed university.

• At least 5 year(s)
