Position:
Database Administrator

Tekarsh Bangladesh Ltd is looking for a Database Administrator to join its small yet very dynamic team where you will be expected to solve complex engineering problems. You will have an opportunity to participate in the re-engineering of our entire pipeline of services leveraging your past experience and using tools and technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and maintain the development, test and production databases
• Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
• Drive automation of code
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
• Review table/indexes report
• Ensure database availability

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a well reputed University/ Engineering School

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Cassendra database 
• Previous experience in Adabas database administration can be an added adapter 
• Ability to monitor and tune databases for efficiency
• Good knowledge on all aspects of multiple databases including physical descriptions, standards and security
• Strong understanding of SQL tuning and optimization of query plans.
• Good in PL/SQL development skill 
• Must have experience with managing large relational and non-relational databases. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary: Excellent

Work Hour: Sunday to Thursday (10.00 AM- 6.00 PM Bangladesh Time or any other overlapping time slot to match the time with US team)

Work Location: Dhaka
