Tekarsh Bangladesh is looking forward to onboard a few Senior Software Engineers for its small yet dynamic team where you will be expected to solve complex engineering problems that will have both short and long term impact on restaurant businesses in the US. As part of a major investment in payments platform, you will work closely with Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver fintech-focused products that solve real problems for restaurant owners.

The system is cloud-hosted on AWS with services developed using Java/Spring Boot and front-end tech using React and AngularJS and the data layer uses a combination of NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (Postgres) databases.

What you are going to do:

• Develop back-end services and intuitive front-end interfaces for high-volume payment features
• Collaborate with Product and Design to plan, scope, and improve payment features.
• Perform code reviews and apply feedback to improve security, scalability, and reliability
• Identify security risks in code and design secure solutionsOptimize performance to scale 10x and identify bottlenecks before they become problems
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support for critical issue resolution
• Dive into customer problems to deliver an excellent experience

Work Location: Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka (Work from Office & Work from Home)

Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday (1 PM – 10 PM)

• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

What we are seeking for this role:

• Candidates in this role typically have 5-7 years of related experience in software development.
• Having strong grasp of object-oriented fundamentals, data structures, RESTful API design, & modern full stack architecture pattern
• Be a self-starter, who proactively seeks out new tasks, collaborates with senior team members, and searches for solutions to problems before asking for helpReal-world production experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (Preferred)
• Experience with systems that endure high load with grace, load testing, and performance optimization
