TENDER FOR THE PROPOSED: BGD-2025-TEK-001_Vehicle Rental Tender

Presentation of the project/mission and the organization:

Terre des hommes (Tdh), a humanitarian aid organization, has been working in Bangladesh since 1974 and is registered with the non-Governmental Organization Affairs Bureau. TdH is currently implementing the following project in Bangladesh: Child Protection Program; Health care and nutrition project; and WASH project supported by BPRM, UNHCR, erre des hommes (TdH) has a long experience with integrated Primary health care/nutrition programs and can bring its expertise to the context of the Rohingya crisis.
 
Explain which are the targets of this tender:

In order to procure the described items below for TdH, Bangladesh, Tenders submissions under sealed envelopes are invited from eligible bidders who must be currently registered with the Bangladesh Government Authority.

What is the standard for admission:

Interested bidders should note that only those who meet the criteria indicated below as a minimum supported by relevant documents at submission, will be given tender documents.

  1. Proof of works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last five years (references of UN, INGO are highly appreciated).
  2. Sound financial standing and adequate access to bank credit lines.
  3. ID of the business Proprietor.
  4. Valid trade license of the market up to date.
  5. Tax & VAT compliant certificate up to date.
  6. Bank Solvency Certificate
  7. Tax Return Certificate up to date.

The causes of non-responsive offers:

Tenders from the following tenderers shall be treated as NON-RESPONSIVE and therefore subject to automatic disqualification:

  1. A tender from a tenderer whose ongoing project(s) is/are behind schedule and without any approved extension of time.
  2. A tender from a tenderer who has been served with a default notice on an ongoing project(s) or terminated in a government contract/ INGO or NGO contract.

Specific clauses and response process:

Submitted tender documents shall be opened Infront Bidders who are in the present and Bid Evaluation Committee after the closing date in the Tdh Teknaf Office. Late bids (dated: 13.01.2026 at after 2:00PM) shall not be accepted or opened.

Prices quoted must remain valid for a period of Three hundred and Sixty-Five (365) days from the opening date of tenders. TdH will accept the offer that shows the best ratio price/quality.

Tdh is allowed to attribute the Vehicle Rental Agreement to a single contractor or Multipole contractor, dividing the works per lot, whichever is considered more efficient for TdH.
