Application Specialist (Stock & Inventory Management) cum Accountant |
Job context:
We are looking for experienced Accounting Professional who have necessary working experience in Inventory and Accounting Management Software Application. We shall be looking for primary assistance & guidance from the selected Applicant to guide the company develop software application in the field of Inventory & Sales Management, Asset Management, VAT calculation etc. After completion of this work he may be absorbed as a regular Accountant of the company.
Educational Requirement:
- Graduation / Masters in Finance/Accounting/Business/Commerce etc.
Job Description / Responsibility
A. As an Application Specialist
- Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification
- Analyze software requirements, defines solution parameters and specifications.
- Negotiate and manage functional scope to reduce business and technical risks.
- Conduct formal workshops with the client to gather requirements, displaying knowledge of the business environment in defining the customer's needs
- Lead the function design process.
- Develop high-quality presentations to explain business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE)
- Develop process diagrams for finance, accounting and auditing processes using industry standard tools.
- Assist software developers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
- Develop test cases and test manuals.
- Apply professional mastery and industry-wide understanding of technology, tools and methodologies to develop solutions.
B. As an Accountant:
After successful development of the said software application, you may be absorbed as a regular staff in Accounts & Finance department of the company. Your job responsibility will be the followings –
- Record accounting vouchers through proper coding and posting into the accounting software.
- Maintain all financial records and books of accounts.
- Maintain cash & bank book, general ledger book, party ledger book, and other relevant registers. Prepare monthly, weekly, daily report/ statement.
- Preparation of financial statements and necessary reports (monthly / quarterly) as required by the management.
- Prepare the bank reconciliation statement.
- Update & maintain VAT & Tax related entries and present the company to the VAT & Tax departments, as and when required.
- Perform HR & Administrative work.
- Sense of discipline and punctuality.
- Perform any other job as & when Senior Management deems suitable
Qualification Requirements
- Good interpersonal, communication and convincing skill.
- Sound Accounting knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Email, Power Point, Photoshop and social media tools.
- Must be Enthusiastic, Pro-active, Punctual, Honest and Hard-working.
- Writing skill especially in English will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirement
- 2-5 years’ of work Experience in at least one (01) Accounting/Inventory ERP software application viz. Tally or any other (software application) is mandatory.
