Swisscontact was established in 1959 as an independent foundation by notable figures from the worlds of commerce and science in Switzerland. It is exclusively involved in international development co-operation and since 1961 has carried out its own and mandated projects. Since it was founded, Swisscontact has had close ties with the private sector. Swisscontact Bangladesh is inviting proposal for enlistment from reputed firm/organisation/individual for various types of products/services for Dhaka office and Sylhet Office.

One firm can apply for different products/services but need to apply separately and should mention the name of the category of products/service on top of the envelope. Firms with experience in working with international organisations will be preferred. The firm(s) is/are requested to send its/their proposal(s) in A4 size report cover file in a sealed envelope with the following document to the following address by 15 December 2020:

Supporting Documents

It is mandatory to submit documentary evidence demonstrating their legal, taxation and financial status.

This includes:

  • Copy of the valid trade license;
  • Copy of the TIN certificate;
  • Copy of the up-to-date VAT registration certificate;
  • NGO bureau registration (if applicable);
  • Joint stock registration certificate (if applicable);
  • Copy of National ID;
  • Current Bank Solvency Certificate;
  • Undertakings on his/her official letterhead, stating that the intending supplier has not been blacklisted/issued show cause notice/taken disciplinary action(s) by any entity in Bangladesh;
  • Copy of ATAB membership (applicable for travel agent);
  • Copy of the Press Declaration (applicable for printing group);
  • Proof of a segregated account (providing the name and address of such account);
  • Other valid papers (Provided by Government institution);
  • 1 copy passport size photograph.

Terms and Conditions

  • Enlistment is not the confirmation of selection. All types of requirement will be sent to the enlisted vendor(s)/service provider(s) to collect quotations. The vendor will be selected as per the procurement process of Swisscontact. Swisscontact Bangladesh reserves the right to send the Request for Proposal (RFP) to any vendor/service provider and accept or reject any or all offers in part or in full, may correct, modify or rectify discrepancy, if any in the offer document without assigning any reason whatsoever in the interest of Swisscontact Bangladesh.
  • Quality of goods or materials or products should be checked by the vendor/service provider before supplying. Swisscontact Bangladesh may cancel the enlistment of the vendor/service provider if they supply poor/dissatisfactory quality of goods or materials or products.
  • If vendor/service provider does not intend to participate in bidding, Swisscontact Bangladesh may cancel the enlistment of the vendor.
  • Swisscontact Bangladesh reserve the right to enlist or cancel enlistment of any vendor/service provider any time based on the approval of Swisscontact Bangladesh authority.
