The Opportunity

This position is mainly responsible for driving safely and maintaining the vehicle properly. S/he will drive the assigned vehicle in a most reliable and safe way, ensuring all driving rules and regulations of SC-BdCO are strictly followed including all fitness regularities. S/he will follow driving roster and maintain travel logbook. Also, s/he will clean the vehicle (inside and outside) as needed. S/he will prepare fuel consumption and mileage/KM statement periodically and submit to the supervisor on time. S/he will be responsible for taking care of the vehicle and inform the supervisor in case of any accident.

The position can be transferred to any of the offices of Save the Children in Bangladesh anytime as per management need and decision.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in different types of vehicles driving preferably in INGO/Development sector
  • Basic technical knowledge on vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to understand English language.
  • Technical knowledge on different types of vehicle engine.
  • Candidates must have valid driving license.
  • At least SSC or equivalent. Educational qualification can be flexible for highly deserving candidates.
