Midwife

Save the Children invites applications for the above-mentioned position for Strengthening National Midwifery Programme (SNMP) supported by UNFPA. Only female candidates are invited to apply

The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for initiation and continuation of evidence-based maternal and neonatal practices in Sarai UH&FWC, Bandarban. S/he will work as catalyst to ensure SRHR services in the facility jointly with other available service providers. This position will work under the administrative umbrella of MoH&FW in Bandarban district. 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Three years degree on Midwifery preferably from Government affiliated institutions.
  • Registered from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC)
  • Working experience in Govt. set up will be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge about the health service delivery systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Presentation, team-building and motivation skills
  • Good communication skill
  • Basic computer operation skill in MS Office
