The Opportunity

Embark on a transformative role as the Coordinator for our Education in Emergency (EiE) initiative in Cox’s Bazar refugee camps. Your responsibility is pivotal in driving innovative solutions, ensuring meticulous execution, and leaving a lasting impact on education in crisis situations.

Serving as the linchpin between Save the Children International (SCI) and implementing partners, you will orchestrate seamless collaboration, providing day-to-day project oversight with precision. Through frequent field visits, you'll offer real-time updates, celebrating progress and addressing challenges.

Your keen attention to detail and strategic foresight will uphold the excellence of our Education activities – delivered punctually, within budget, and with unwavering commitment to quality. Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience both in development and humanitarian setting, preferably in Education and Education in Emergency (EiE) program
  • Expert in education program management encompassing project operations, budgeting, and procurement, with a focus on pedagogy and non-formal education. Well-versed in formal and non-formal education theories, particularly in emergency response situations.
  • Demonstrates excellence in team and process management, maintaining high standards in coordination, communication, and partnership development. Possesses strong planning, coordinating, and monitoring skills, collaborating effectively with implementing partners.
  • Displays advanced technical proficiency, including bilingual computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and applying technical expertise, complemented by effective communication, networking, and time management skills.
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Education/Social Science/Development Studies and other relevant faculties.
