Coordinator- Administration

The Opportunity

The Coordinator– Administration will directly report to Director-Cox’s Bazar Area Office and will work collaboratively with the Head of Safety, Security and Administration and team members in Country Office. S/ he is responsible for management, supervision and ensure that an efficient administrative system is in place in the Cox’s Bazar Area Office, Ukhiya office, other project offices and warehouses under Cox’s Bazar in terms of office administration and management, procurement, personnel, assets management and supporting programs according to SCI BDCO policies and procedures. The position holder also needs to oversee and coordinate fleet, ICT and logistic support, provide assistance to internal/external consultants, donors and other visitors. S/he needs to prepare budget and execute it in cost effective manner. S/he needs to look after the storing of materials, maintain stock, ensure cleanliness and security. S/he needs active involvement in renting/selecting any new premises.

The position holder also needs to support internal and domestic travel management and expatriate staff along with handling staff affairs and fleet operation. S/he needs to be ready to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of working experiences including 3 years in supervisory role
  • Advance knowledge on Administration
  • Excellent skills on process facilitation, coordination and inter-personal skills
  • Fluent in English and Bangla (reading, writing & speaking) and solid computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and social media applications.
  • Good supportive supervision skills with problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
