Officer-Medical Warehouse

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Technical Specialist – Warehouse, this position holder will work collaboratively with Health Post (HP), Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) and warehouse team. S/he is mainly responsible for managing medical stocks in Cox’s Bazar medical warehouse, including routine maintenance and cleaning of the store, product quality check, preparing and receiving medical orders, TIM Entry, picking all orders for the PHCC, HP, partner organization and Health sectors. S/he will ensure the placement of proper pharmaceutical logistic management information system in all the project areas and assist in ensuring Quality Assurance in medicinal and supply management along maintaining proper storage condition, temperature and humidity for medicine warehouse/store and cold chain items.

The position holder needs to ensure that procedures of drug supply chain meet Save the Children and donor rules and regulations, check medical equipment and air conditioner. Overall, s/he is responsible for periodical check and reporting of pharmaceutical product including medicine, medical supplies and consumables and coordinate with different stakeholders at Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in medical warehousing
  • Experience working in iNGO emergency program
  • Experience in health logistics, specifically pharmaceutical logistics, including procurement
  • Understanding of medical supply chain management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Supply Chain or relevant discipline
