Manager – Communications

The Opportunity

This position will be responsible to support USAID’s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP), implemented by Save the Children (SCI) in Bangladesh in advocacy, media mobilization, strategic communication and program communication activities to ensure timely and quality deliverables. The Manager will be independently responsible for conceptualizing and managing the production of various communication materials for disseminating the MaMoni MNCSP’s work externally, including the design of print materials, videos, project briefs, brochures, newsletters etc. 

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 6 years’ experience in mainstream communication product development, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience on documentation, dissemination and coordination, particularly in health sector.
  • Working knowledge or short courses on graphic design/photography/ videography will be an asset.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Experienced in public speaking with good presentation skills.
  • Can work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Master Degree, preferably in Communication/Journalism/ English/Social Science or related field.
