               Project  Manager - Resilience of Host Communities through multisectoral approach 
              Save The Children in Bangladesh invites  interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. The project is to promote the resilience of host communities in Ukhia  and Teknaf of Cox's Bazaar district, Bangladesh, through strengthening the  local Health and Child Protection Systems and income-generating opportunities  by 2024.

              The Opportunity  
              Project Manager – Resilience of Host Communities  through multisectoral approach has the responsibility of providing support to  the team for addressing the vulnerability of children through ensuring the  implementation of the activities of “Child Protection, Health & FSL”. The  position holder is accountable to provide technical expertise/guidance for  project implementation, budget monitoring, capacity building, and partnership  management of the said project. S/he is responsible for supporting the project  team including the partner for assessment, response analysis, design, coordination,  implementation, and monitoring of the DIP and Budget and support to all three  components. S/he will provide support to the partner organization to implement  the project activities in line with SCI standards. This position is responsible  for internal and external coordination, reporting, and liaison with the  government with support from SCI Govt. relation team. S/he will lead the host  community program for this project maintaining proper coordination with  existing SCI projects working in the host communities.  
              Qualifications and Experience 
              
                - At least 7 years of working experience in the development sector with  direct involvement in either Child Protection or the Health sector. It will  include at least 4 years of working experience in a management or supervisory  position. Working experience in a host community with Partnership Management  and liaison with district and Upazilla-level Government is mandatory.  Implementation of integrated projects, Rights-based & good command of  participatory approach is desirable.

                - Knowledge of CRC and other Human Rights instruments, Host community  project implementation modality, 
 
                - Hands-on experience with computerized accounts packages and Excel,  PowerPoint
 
                - Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in  English, with experience in managing multicultural teams
 
                - Excellent communication skills in cross-cultural  contexts, awareness, and sensitivity to gender and diversity
 
                - Bachelor/ Master’s Degree, preferably in Social  Sciences / MBBS (graduate) including MPH or relevant discipline
