Clinical Mentor

The Opportunity

The Clinical Mentors under the project named Strengthening Midwifery Education and Services Programme (SMESP) will be responsible for capacity building of the midwives and other service providers of MNCH services at targeted facilities and do mentoring for evidence-based maternal and new-born practices as per standard. They will coordinate with facility managers, clinicians, and other stake holders for establishing midwifery led care model at upazila health complexes. They also closely work with Midwifery Faculty members and provide technical support and necessary guidance to ensure enable environment for student midwives in clinical education sites.

Qualifications and experience

  • One year experience with computer skill in MS Office especially on PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word
  • Working experience in Govt. set up will be an advantage
  • Experience on evidence-based practices by midwives as per quality standard
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skill both in English & Bangla
  • Ability to coordinate and liaison with internal and external stake holders for establishing midwifery led care model at upazila health complexes
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a team, along with ability to motivate people
  • Willingness to travel to the assigned districts/upazilas
  • MBBS. Experience in OBGYN is preferred

Contract length: Contractual (Till December 2023)
Job Location:  Bandarban, Chandpur, Noakhali and Sunamganj
